James' Shock Results

I was intrigued to see if I currently have any food intolerances.

I used this test several years ago, before I was a fitness professional and it provided life changing results for me personally.

I was regularly suffering from an issue where food would get stuck in my oesophagus. The only way this could be removed was through an endoscopy, which isn’t a particularly pleasant experience. The food would be stuck for up to 24 hours and I wouldn’t even be able to sip any water as the fluid would hit the blockage and come straight back up.

I was fortunate enough to have private medical care and was able to see a specialist who advised that the issue was due to me eating certain foods that I was intolerant to.

They placed me on an elimination diet  (a short-term eating plan that eliminates certain foods that may be causing digestive reactions – then reintroduces the foods one at a time in order to determine which foods are, and are not, well-tolerated ). This is a very lengthy process and I continued to experience the same issues.

I then discovered the Lorisian Food intolerance test. I had my blood test results within 7 working days. I have never experienced the same issues again once I removed my intolerances from my diet and followed the Mind and Body Detox, Heal Your Gut protocol, I was able to slowly re-introduce some of the foods that I was initially intolerant to.

It has been 4 years since my first test and my original issues have thankfully not returned. However, after many significant changes to my diet, I was curious to see if I am now consuming the optimal food for my body. We would never drive a car without first confirming the fuel type required yet we chose the fuel for our bodies on a daily basis without truly knowing whether our choices are affecting our performance or health. I recently took a second food intolerance test to determine whether my diet was working for or against me.

Now For The Results.

The results will pick up any IGG antibody reaction which has occurred in the gut in the last 8 weeks. Over the past few months there have been a few family celebrations, meaning a little indulgence with birthday cakes. This is perfectly fine, personally and as a company we advocate an 80/20 rule. However, this would explain my intolerances of cow’s milk and yeast. I don’t regularly consume either cow’s milk as I feel this is inflammatory and acidic and yeast is found in alcohol and baked goods that infrequently feature on our shopping list.

I am reassured that I am making the best choices for my body, predominantly fuelling it with foods it is not reacting adversely to.
